Dear Sirs, My name is Eva Benages and I work as a research technician at the Ivie (Valencian Institut of Economic Research). The Ivie (based in Valencia, Spain) is working for the European Commission (EC) on a project devoted to ICT R&D activities from an international perspective (you can have more information on the project here: https://ec.europa.eu/jrc/en/predict). The objective of the project is to an international database containing data on R&D expenditure, R&D personnel and researchers by industry (we follow ISIC Rev.4). We usually use OECD ANBERD data for South Korea, but this year information on 2016 and 2017 R&D variables is still not available in ANBERD in the case of South Korea. Because of that we have tried to obtain this information from your website (KOSIS website). However, although we have found data on R&D personnel by industry in the Survey of Research and Development, no data on R&D expenses is available or, at least, we have not been able to find it. Is this information available for Korea? We would appreciate any useful information or help in order to get these data. Thank you in advance for your collaboration. Best regards,
