Dear KOSIS, We are regular users of your Mining and Manufacturing monthly statistics, particular copper statistics. In 2018, the format of data presentation changed and Copper plate and strip statistics were removed or omitted from the monthly publications. In prior communications, I was informed that they had been removed from publication as a result of a review of methodology which occurs every 5-years. I am wondering whether copper plate and strip statistics are going to reintroduced into the monthly publications in the near future or whether they will be a reconsidered during the next 5-year statistics review? Dear Henry Salisbury, Thank you for visiting the KOSIS website. The items that were removed from the survey according to the revision, which occurred in 2018 to change the base year to 2015, will not be re-included in the near future. In the meantime, if the production of 'Copper plate and strip' records more than 1/5000 of the total shipment value of mining and manufacturing industry in the results of the 2020 Economic Census (used as a survey population), 'Copper plate and strip' will be reconsidered as a survey item during the next revision scheduled in 2023.
