(2) What is the weighting data used for the category? (3) Which pricing method do you employ for this section (such as the direct use of prices of repeated services method) and whether this pricing method is to collect BtoAll index? How do you collect BtoB prices? 2. Couriers and messengers activities: (1) What is the industry definition and scope of the survey? Does the coverage of services for which prices are collected is limited to the door to door transport? (2) What is the weighting data used for the category? (3) How do you distinguish the couriers and messengers activities from the Road freight transport? (with reference to the size of the transport vehicles in use or the weight/size of parcels?) (4) Which pricing method do you employ for this section (such as the direct use of prices of repeated services method) and whether this pricing method is to collect BtoAll index? How do you collect BtoB prices? (5) Are Restaurant meals order and delivery services included in the category? The Price Statistics Team of the Bank of Korea, which is in charge of the statistical production of the Producer Price Index, provides information as follows; The Producer Price Index follows the classification of the Input-Output tables and the Korean Standard Industrial Classification (KSIC). 1. Postal service (1) Definition: A postal service is a system used to collect, distribute and deliver mail from mailboxes or post offices, including stamp sales activities, mail sorting and processing activities, mailbox rental and public relations for mailing activities. (2) When compiling the postal service price index, domestic production values in the Input-Output tables of the Bank of Korea are used as weighting data. (3) For the the postal service price index, BtoALL prices of Korea Post by type of postal service are collected. 2. Couriers and messengers activities (1) Definition: Couriers and messengers activities indicate industrial activities that involve collecting, transporting, and delivering documents, packages, and parcels. In the producer price index of couriers and messengers activities, door to door transport is a representative activity. (2) When compiling the price index of couriers and messengers activities, domestic production values in the Input-Output tables of the Bank of Korea are used as weighting data. (3) Road freight transport indicates industrial activities of transporting various cargoes using trucks or transporting various cargoes using towing, rescuing, and special purpose vehicles. In the meantime, door-to-door parcel delivery services are not included in road freight transport. For example, transport services of commercial rebar products transported by companies for industrial activities are classified into road freight transportation. (4) For the producer price index of couriers and messengers activities, BtoALL prices by size of door-to-door transport businesses are collected.
