Policy for the use of public data
Public data is information under Article 2, Section 2 of the Act on the Promotion of the Provision and Use of Public Data and it is kept and managed by governmental agencies under Article 3, Section 10 of the Framework Act on National Informatization.
Public data offered from KOSIS is available to anyone in accordance with the law*, and can be freely used including the purpose of the profit. (Article 1, Article 3)

However, information subject to non-disclosure under Article 9 of the Official Information Disclosure Act and information which involves any third person's right protected under the Copyright Act or any other Act and subordinate statute and the use of which is not duly authorized under the relevant law are excluded.
