Employment by Industry - Administrative Districts: 1989~1992 Mining

Hello, I have a question regarding the table: Administrative Districts / Employed by Industry (1989 ~ 1992) (found here: http://kosis.kr/statHtml/statHtml.do?orgId=101&tblId=DT_1DA7062&conn_path=I3). The data for Daegu Metropolitan City and Jeju Island, for the industry Mining, is reported as zero for the entire length of history. However there is a series for Manufacturing, as well as a series for Mining & Manufacturing that are equal. Is the employment for Mining truly zero, or is part of the data found within the Mining & Manufacturing series? The same question applies to Incheon Metropolitan City, and Daejeon which report mostly zero for Mining with a few data values of 1. However the annual versions report 1 even when multiple quarters report Mining as 1. Can you verify if the Mining data values for these four areas are correct? Thank you!

Dear Kelli, Thank you for visiting the KOSIS website. 1. Employment by industry shows data in thousands. "0" in the table represents "Less than the unit value" or "Not reported". 2. As for employment of administrative districts by industry, data for quarters were calculated as the average of 3 months. Data for the year were calculated as the average of 12 months. Figures of 4 regions in the table, which are correct, were rounded off to thousands. Thank you.
